Peak Rail Association have purchased the Cowans Sheldon Breakdown Crane from Peak Rail PLC. The crane was purchased in December 2020 and was made to support Peak Rail PLC finances during the lock-down. The crane is not currently in working condition. Both the NR Kirow 1200 and the Volker 810 were seen at Perth working south from Inverness on 21 Sept.
Whether they actually did anything in the four weeks they were in Aberdeen?, not known.

But running multiple trains within a few metres ( sorry yards ) of a working zone is not I think what we would have seen here. All done and dusted in less than 48 hours ..... hardly ti...
