Rear end collision between engineering trains within a possession at Long Ashes. Two cranes requested from Bescot and Wigan but apparently not required in the end. Pictures of cranes enroute Here |

Interesting to see a single working made up of two breakdown trains (or at least two cranes). I don't recall ever seeing any photos of two traditional cranes running coupled together - I wonder if it ever happened? |

There is some footage of the Stewarts Lane and Eastleigh trains being shunted together by 73109. The cranes were in the middle of the formation, jib to jib. |
