A 3:28 minute BBC recording of a steam breakdown crane in action can be found here: http://www.1soundfx.com/109348-railway_ ... peech.html The identical recording is also offered by a Swiss company, and they tell us that it is from 1967. It would be interesting to be able to identify the crane, what it was lifting, and where the lift was taking place - but I think that is beyond the expertise of the best of us! |
