An album of RS1074/30 at Ferryhill
An album by Mike Yeoman (formerly of Scotland, now of New Zealand).
Mike tells us: The last steam crane stationed at Ferryhill (61B) was RS1074/30, which arrived in 1967 and remained until 1975 when it moved to Inverness.
I spent a number of outings with this crane (together with Jim Edmondson when he was depot engineer at 61B), the most memorable being at Inverkeilor in the 1970s when we worked with the Dundee crane to clear the remnants of a loose-coupled freight which had ended up in a corn field.
