A letter from John Brownlie on recycled paper
BDCA member Brian Newman met John Brownlie on four occasions and corresponded with him mostly by telephone but also by letter.
Brownlie would use any scrap paper for his informal letters as can be seen here; even gas and electric bills were used. His more formal letters to Brian were all on different sized paper, some of which looked very old.
