Neville Hill Open Day, 28.4.1973. (1)

Photo © Barry Redfearn

The newly-painted crane is seen at Neville Hill, not far from its Holbeck base.

Barry says he spent around two months painting the crane and the three 60ft coaches (riding coach and two tool vans), using about 6 gallons of Rail Red paint.

Regular driver Peter Woad is walking by the jib carrier. Still with the 1970s hair style, Peter?
