Learned the ropes of the breakdown gang on this crane at Kingmoor. Many a good day out with the gang. The crane lasted until replace with one of the new 75 toners arrive to replace it due to the boiler failing its inspection. The crane carried a yellow duck on it’s jib in the later days. Just recently about 4 volumes of the Kingmoor breakdown logs surfaced when Currock Wagon Shops closed they are now safely looked after by a DB. Driver. I spent many a hour going through them it brought back some happy memories.
