    Just wondering how many of the drivers are still about that used these in service ?
    In my time as driver at Stratford from 1984 to 1991 I seem to remember most other depots having drivers that were not too far off retirement.

    HI Chris, I was at Stratford for 25 years, on the BDV's for 15. if you remember I took over from you when you left in 1991. I drove the crane until they shut Stratford and they disbanded the BDV, I think most of the equipment went to Old Oak Common , and they moved us up to Temple Mills shunting.
