Recovery at Dent Head, 18.7.1998 (1)
Toton's ADRC96702 (left) and Thornaby's ADRC96709 (right) engaged in MGR wagon recovery at Dent Head on 18th July 1998.
60085 brought the breakdown train from Toton, and 37146 the train from Thornaby. The accident is believed to have been caused by a bridge collapse.
Unfortunately ADRC96709 toppled during its return visit in September 1998 to clear the site. More details are in the Gallery page for that crane.
