RS1087/30 (as ADM1091/30), Bridgnorth, 14.6.2014

This picture, taken by Rob at Bridgnorth in June 2014, is of RS1087/30 despite the number "ADM1091/30" on the cab side, the Cowans Sheldon number C60 on the cast plate confirming it as such. (RS1091/30, scrapped by the SVR in 2010, was C65.)

RS1087/30 carried no signwriting for several years before being repainted in 2006, at which time 'Cowans Sheldon' was sign-written on the jib but nothing on the cabside. Judging from this photo, it was repainted again not long before Rob's visit but with the wrong crane number applied.

An email was sent to the SVR about this, in case the re-numbering was not intentional, but no reply was received. Can any visitor here tell us if the number has been corrected?

(Incidentally, Rob should be commended for spotting the numbering anomaly.)
