ADRR95201 in transit, 13.2.1982

David Morgan says:
"Whilst continuing with the painfully slow process of scanning my old B&W negatives I have come across this view of the Stewart's Lane Breakdown Train with ADRR95201/DS81 heading south towards Clapham Junction at approx 11:30 on Saturday 13 February 1982. Whilst not a good view of the crane itself, the photo might be of interest to anyone wishing to model a prototypical Southern Region breakdown train as this example has an interesting collection of old rolling stock. Perhaps someone could identify the various vehicles?"

I meant to say the middle bogie carriage in the photo has end modified to get the then very heavy hydraulic gear (MDF I think "German gear") in and out of the vehicle by the open end suspended from a track or beam. One of the BR re-railing Forum members will put this right if off the mark. Wish I'd taken photos of the Chart Leacon crane & train on their
visits to Dover Town yard in the 1980's!
